Your Precious Life – For Reflection

Anne Lamott (contemporary American writer) wrote:
Your problem is how you are going to spend this one and precious life you have been issued. Whether you’re going to spend it trying to look good and creating the illusion that you have power over people and circumstances, or whether you are going to taste it, enjoy it and find out the truth about who you are.

I invite you to a day of reflection on the questions raised here.

#30DaysOfLoveAndReflection – Day 15

Introduction to 30 Days of Love and Reflection

My Reflection

I picked this quote after it was used in yesterday’s Entrepreneurial Ministry retreat. The presenter was talking about her journey as she founded a new congregation. In the room were 26 people who had come to the retreat with projects for innovative ministry that had captured their hearts… and which required great risk. For me, the quote captured importance of being willing to try new things even if it means letting go of what is comfortable and sure. Both the quote and the day were inspiring.
